Our Story
Peninsula Roofing Company was founded in 1947 by Salisbury businessman Wallace Messick. In 1968, it was purchased by the late Herbert Fincher, a former Westinghouse executive and prominent civic leader in the Salisbury, MD area. In 1988, ownership was transferred to Herb’s daughters, Kathryn Fahey and Laurie Nosworthy.
Our Progression
Today, Peninsula Roofing Company has over 50 employees and performs commercial and residential roofing work in Eastern Shore Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware. Our projects range from small homes to large buildings. In addition to our commercial and residential divisions, we also have a service division dedicated to small projects and quick response roof repairs.
The Peninsula management team is dedicated to following the example of Herb Fincher’s leadership. We emphasize quality of workmanship, safety, and honesty in our relationships with our customers, employees, vendors, and suppliers.
